Therefore I was displeased with this generation, and I said, They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways (Heb. 3:10)

Ignite My Soul 2008

Here we go again ... another Ignite my soul event.  When are they going to stop killing the young people?  By now, these "serving ones" are so dead that they have lost all their sense of life.  Sad for the young people.  Lord! may You preserve some Nazarites for Your testimony!

How beautiful life they have which is given by God, the Father!!

It would be better to encouraging than discouraging youths.

Once your  are youths, now you are grown-ups in the Lord.

But always rejoice! Not only we were youths before, but also we have the youths of ower own from God, the Father. Praise the Lord!!! Amen.

Welcome back Holygangster and the gang. Sadly, your comment exposed exactly the problem with you and many of the young ones; you can't tell the difference between enjoying the Lord and enjoying the soul. O Lord Jesus!

I hate to say I told everyone so, but sometime ago I did say that Nigel will soon come clean publicly on how he has been against Brother Lee and his ministry all along. In the past six months he has done just that. His latest one now defends their Ignite and Mountaintop and "Christian rock".

It is really sad how the Torontonian brothers have been deceived by the devil. In trying to be different from the uniqueness of the Lord's recovery and in their effort to be closer to Christianity and accept/be accepted by it, they have introduced various strange fires into the church, resulting in the usurpation of the Christian heritage of the young ones. This opens a Pandora's box that will inevitably bring in more worldly mixture, even Satanic things, among the young ones. May the Lord shine through and open the way for these young ones to be released from the power of darkness!

"They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate" Titus 1:16.

"But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him....For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works" 2 Corinthians 11:3,4,13-15.

"For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ....Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities....Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever" Jude 4,8,11-13.

"For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things" (Phil 3:18,19).

"Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes" (Rom 3:13-18).

All verses can be applied to yourself.... Watch out!!!

Ohbrolee, you are right. All the verses apply to me when I serve in my natural man, when I offer strange fire to God. It is God's mercy and grace to purge us of all evil mixture of leaven, of the corruption which is in the world by lust, of that we and our works may be able to stand the test of fire on that day.

I totally agree that we need to watch out! We need to be alert lest we be tossed about by winds of teaching in the sleight of men so that we would not be robbed of our purity and simplicity, and of the rich enjoyment of Christ in His church. May God so grant such discernment to the young ones who may be confused and confounded by the unabated attacks from the enemy perpetrated through lawless men and their different teachings.

1. Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State.

2. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.

3. The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one's deliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.

4. These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth; (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.

5-6. 'The Moral Law' causes the people to be in complete accord with their ruler, so that they will follow him regardless of their lives, undismayed by any danger.

7. 'Heaven' signifies night and day, cold and heat, times and seasons.

8. 'Earth' comprises distances, great and small; danger and security; open ground and narrow passes; the chances of life and death.

9. 'The Commander' stands for the virtues of wisdom, sincerity, benevolence, courage and strictness.

10. By 'Method and discipline' are to be understood the marshalling of the army in its proper subdivisions, the gradations of rank among the officers, the maintenance of roads by which supplies may reach the army, and the control of military expenditure.

11. These five heads should be familiar to every general: he who knows them will be victorious; he who knows them not will fail.

12. Therefore, in your deliberations, when seeking to determine the military conditions, let them be made the basis of a comparison, in this wise:

13. (1) Which of the two sovereigns is imbued with the Moral Law?
(2) Which of the two generals has most ability?
(3) With whom lies the advantages derived from Heaven and Earth?
(4) On which side is discipline most rigorously enforced?
(5) Which army is the stronger?
(6) On which side are officers and men more highly trained?
(7) In which army is there the greater constancy both in reward and punishment?

14. By means of these seven considerations I can forecast victory or defeat.

15. The general that hearkens to my counsel and acts upon it, will conquer: - let such a one be retained in command! The general that hearkens not to my counsel nor acts upon it, will suffer defeat: - let such a one be dismissed!

16. While heeding the profit of my counsel, avail yourself also of any helpful circumstances over and beyond the ordinary rules.

17. According as circumstances are favourable, one should modify one's plans.

18. All warfare is based on deception.

19. Hence, when able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must seem inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believer we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.

20. Hold out baits to entice the enemy. Feign disorder, and crush him.

21. If he is secure at all points, be prepared for him. If he is in superior strength, evade him.

22. If your opponent is of choleric temper, seek to irritate him. Pretend to be weak, that he may grow arrogant.

23. If he is taking his ease, give him no rest.

24. Attack him where he is unprepared, appear where you are not expected.

25. These military devices, leading to victory, must not be divulged beforehand.

26. Now the general who wins a battle makes many calculations in his temple ere the battle is fought. The general who loses a battle makes but few calculations beforehand. Thus do many calculations lead to victory, and few calculations to defeat: how much more no calculation at all! It is by attention to this point that I can forsee who is likely to win or lose.

I would like to comment on three things ...

1) Towards the song
2) Towards the serving ones
3) Towards the young people ...

Oh, before that ... Greetings to everyone in Christ, especially those who flee youthful lust and pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart .

I've watched the whole video ... It's very disturbing, and somehow Titus' boys did succesfully fooled and poisoned the mined of many young people. There doings are no different from any denominational things and concerts. Leavening things up to look seemingly good, tree of knowledge of good and evil ...

Now my comments ...

1) The song ... those in the stage are just disturbing in itself. There appearance and clothings are just worldly, not christian like. No glory from God. In the starting of the song ... " Satan has lost its power ..." Somehow that guy singing that song doesn't even know what he's singing. It seems Satan has successfully captured this young people because of these neglectic serving ones who themselves are poisoned and fooled by Titus' boys and general. That is a clearly a christian rock, touching the souls and not the spirit. Very outward, soulish and shallow gospel. May God forbid, and save those who joined this ignite from being further fooled and poison. Yes, it may attract many young people. Yes, it may also bring in unity ... But in the end, Christ is the one who lost. But Satan won ...

2) The one who prayed in the video from the start, i believe, is a serving one. One thing is for sure, he doesn't know what he's praying. He's praying for being free. What free is he talking about, free as in a democratic country or in the soul. Only in the spirit and the Word of God can man feel free, not in outward or objective things. Sadly, Jesus is defeated in his prayers, thus winning the devil's smile. The serving ones in this video, i believe from Toronto, needs to be awakened. In my more than two decades of serving the young people, i've never seen such leaven being imparted and tolerated. We don't serving fried rice, just plain rice. Those leading these group is clearly deviating from the things we learned from those who have gone before us. Be awakened from your sleep and Christ will shine on you. How can the young people lived out Christ if the serving ones themselves doesn't have the discernment in there spirit which is of the world and of God. We cannot serve mammon and God at the same time. Either we hate one and love the other one. The world and Jesus cannot be mixed up. These serving ones just mixed up everything thus deadening the spirit, it seems the young people are living but sadly they only touched Jesus outwardly and objectively. How sad it is. There are ways but not these leavening, worldly ways. What will happen to these young people, there spiritual future in God, is surely is in the hand of God but these serving ones has the say also. Let's see 10 years from now, what will happen to them. These group of serving ones from Toronto needs to be awaken from there distorted ways.

3) We all know that the young people are the future of the church. But what kind of young people are to be produced for God's building depends of who's leading them. Misled young people can surely be way off too much from God's economy. Sadly, disturbing as it seems, Titus' boys and generals are succeeding in fooling and poisoning many young people in thinking that what they are doing can and will glorify God. Truly and in fact, this is happening. Thank God that there are still many young people in the church in Toronto who are still taking the way of His recovery and life. May God's spirit visit and brood over this young people w/ grace. Saving them from wiles of the enemy and be recovered back to life and light.

Only God knows, one day there works will not stand the test of fire. Even more, be declared as children of lawlessness, not knowing His economy. Praise the Lord, He's walking in the midst of the local churches, supplying, saving, enlivening and nourishing. Amen

In the Spirit I can really see that the Lord is so big, so profound, so rich, so colorful...He is righteous, but He is also a friend of us... My dearest brothers and sisters, repent in front of the Lord for being so mean towards other brothers and sisters...A christian without a balanced vision is quite dangerous...

Lord is good...He will take care of us...Remember that He loved us and He hope us to pass that love to others...even including non-believers....

I weep in the Lord for seeing so much "truth", "love" and "life" in all negative comments there... But the point is where the Lord is? Lord, I repent before you....enlargen us...show us your love in everything...

Can someone here explain to me this doctrine of music being evil?

I've always wondered about this.  Obviously, some have posted here saying that Christian "rock" is bad.  I would like to know why it is.  What chords, progressions, and rhythms are sanctified and which ones are "of the devil"?

Did you know that the word, "music" is found only once in the New Testament?  It's Luke 15:25 and refers to the celebration going on upon the return of the prodigal son.  That's also the only verse that talks mentions "dancing."

So let me see if I understand this-

Music and dancing are mentioned as forms of celebration in the New Testament.  But they have no role in praising God?

Further-

Please explain what you mean, in a practical way, when you say-

"the difference between enjoying the Lord and enjoying the soul"

-keeping the context of what you were referring to.  Not the thought in general, but how do you know that these kids were doing one and not the other.
